I wanted to commend you on how well your "trunk show" seamlessly worked in a lot of valuable information about value, contrast, colour, improvisation, texture etc - you were teaching very well, even though some of the quilters in the audience may not have realized they were being taught - well done!
From all the comments we heard at our table alone you wowed them! Throughout the night everyone learned so much and the tips you shared about bindings in different colours, how odd colours can work, the corner hangers and sleeves on both ends, your sense of humour and your fabulous array of your quilts just made a fabulous presentation. As I was leaving folks were still chatting about what a great speaker you were!
Oh my goodness!!!! Your program was amazing! Your work is breathtaking.

Free Motion Stars Amongst Meandering
Hey Everyone, welcome back to Free Motion Friday. Tonight the skies are clear so the stars should be out. Too bad some northern lights wouldn't dance across the sky in all their splendid glory for everyone to see. I would be in heaven if they did. One of my favourite...

The Prairies A Source Of Inspiration
Hey Everyone, welcome back to Inspirational Sunday. Yesterday I learned of a juried show presented by the Focus on Fibre Art Association out of Edmonton in 2014. A fellow blogger by the name of Kitchener Quilter alerted me to the show. Not only is she a fellow...

Hey Everyone, welcome back to Coffee Talk Saturday. A little background would probably go a long way with this story. June 2011 there was major flooding in my hometown of Weyburn, Saskatchewan. The house my niece lived in had a fair bit of water damage in the...
What Is A Split-Complementary Plus Colour Scheme?
Hey Everyone, welcome back to Colourful Friday. The past month or so I deviated from the colour schemes and discussed a few other very important topics related to value and colour. These have included warm and cool colours as well as what are tints, shades and tones....
What Is A Bias Tape Maker
Hey Everyone, welcome back to Cool Tool Thursday. Since I have been talking about sewing and cutting on the bias this week along with a mention of bias binding and tape I felt it would be appropriate to feature the fusible bias tape makers from Clover. Clover also...
