I wanted to commend you on how well your "trunk show" seamlessly worked in a lot of valuable information about value, contrast, colour, improvisation, texture etc - you were teaching very well, even though some of the quilters in the audience may not have realized they were being taught - well done!
From all the comments we heard at our table alone you wowed them! Throughout the night everyone learned so much and the tips you shared about bindings in different colours, how odd colours can work, the corner hangers and sleeves on both ends, your sense of humour and your fabulous array of your quilts just made a fabulous presentation. As I was leaving folks were still chatting about what a great speaker you were!
Oh my goodness!!!! Your program was amazing! Your work is breathtaking.

Bull’s Eye Motif: A Free Motion Design
Hey Everyone, welcome back to Free Motion Friday. The other day I started quilting my Bull's Eye quilt using what else but a bull's eye motif. This motif is really quite easy. Start in the centre of the piece making a swirl. Just move the fabric in a circle motion...

Toboggan Or Party Favour – A Quilting Motif
Hey Everyone, welcome back to Free Motion Friday. Today I set out to create a New Year's motif of those party favours that uncurl and make noise when you blow into them. And well they also look like the old wooden toboggans I use to fling myself down hills on when I...
What Is The Quilter’s Wonder Wheel?
Hey Everyone, welcome back to Cool Tool Thursday. This little tool called the Quilter's Wonder Wheel is a great way to easily and accurately add a ¼″ seam allowance to any template. I do believe it is one of the smallest tools that I have featured - only a ½″ in...
