This is a piece I had so much fun making this spring for A Needle Pulling Thread (ANPT) Magazine June 2022 Issue. I was sworn to secrecy until the magazine was published last week. Now I can share it with all of you. And as you can see the theme was to make something inspired by gardens. And I love flowers so it wasn’t a problem for me.
And they kept a secret as well. I had no idea it was going to be on the cover until the magazine was released. What a thrill it was to see my piece on the cover. I was on cloud nine for a few days.

At present I do not have the pattern for sale but it can be purchased here at ANPT Magazine. It is a great little piece to brighten up any room in your house, cottage or apartment.
Several techniques are found in this quilt with curved checkerboard piecing that gives the background a colour wash effect as well as it looks like it has clouds floating and fusible web applique as the two prominent techniques.

And a piece wouldn’t be mine if I didn’t add a little bit of free motion zigzag to it.

So very exciting to be the Cover Girl as my friends are all calling me.

Until next time…
Happy Quilting
