Hey Everyone,
I’m running a bit late with today’s Technique Tuesday, so I must apologise. I will have Technique Tuesday published later this evening after I get back from teaching my Animal Party Quilt Class at Thimbles and Things in Orillia this afternoon.
In the meantime I would like to highlight the work of one of my students from earlier this year.
One of my students, Susan Hendersson, from a “Bargello In Spring” workshop, sent me these images of her completed bargello quilts. She completed the top of the one above in class and was so thrilled with how it looked that she decided to pick fabrics, with a little input from me, for another one pictured below. As well she wanted the quilt to be a throw size so we just repeated the design to make it longer and added some larger borders – looks fabulous.
It’s always very exciting to see the finished work of other quilters and especially the work of my students. Usually I only get to see the quilt as a work in progress during the workshop and rarely see the finished project.
Thanks so much for sharing these photographs of your finished quilts, Susan!
If you have recently completed a project from one of my workshops or you have simply finished off a long standing UFO I would love to feature it here on the blog and get you some world wide love!
The Bargello in Spring quilt design is one of many bargello designs published by Arbee Designs.
Until the next post…
I too love seeing the results of my pattern designs. Great job Susan and awesome teaching Jennifer – I always love when teachers can help enhance a student to further a design. Fabulous job both of you!
