This tool isn’t found in the quilt shop but is found in just about everyone’s kitchen who has kids and bakes cookies. Well, you don’t even need to have kids just like to bake and eat cookies.

Cookie cutters come in all shapes and sizes. These are perfect for quilting motifs. They could be used to fill in an open space such as a square in the middle of a block or create a great repeated design on a border. Just trace and stitch.

So if all else fails and you don’t make quilting motifs or cookies with this tool then just line them up in a row so the cat can go bowling.
