Hey Everyone, welcome back to Coffee Talk Saturday.
As you have probably noticed it has been a bit quiet here at Quilts by Jen for more than a week now. Unfortunately, I was struck down by the horrible flu virus going around and have spent most of that time in bed or lying on the couch. I seem to be back in the land of the living now and hoping to get back to normal with blog posts and such.
Back in December I did a post about how I had taken up knitting and was making a scarf with knit one, purl one.
The middle of January I finished the scarf with a little bit of help from my mother-in-law to learn how to cast off and thread the ends in. The picture at the top of the page shows it nicely draped over the stair banister.
I have started another project and I will wait for another day to show you what I am up to. All I can say is it is coming along quite well or at least it was before I got sick. Okay here is a sneak peak.
