Hey Everyone, welcome back to Snapshot – Coffee Talk Saturday
Back in August when we were at the photography workshop in St Martins, NB with André Gallant and Freeman Patterson we were given assignments. You may recall that mine was “You Could Quilt It”. When we left our group assigned each other a topic to photograph for the beginning of November and my topic was “Red”.
As I looked around my house I realised that I have a lot more red in it than I thought. I also realised that as I travelled around the country side or walked around town the colour red is everywhere.
It was certainly a lot fun and I hope that we give each other another topic to keep the creativity flowing and the photography skills up to date. I still need to ask Michael many things especially when the camera won’t take a picture and I can’t figure out why but I have come a long way and still have lots to learn.
Last month I did a post on Seeing Red and those shots are part of my assignment as well.
Here are a few of my favourite shots that I included in my assignment. I hope you enjoy them.
The one at the top of the page and these next two were taken when we went back to Freeman’s garden after the workshop. Aren’t the little red toadstools so cute. I keep expecting little Gnomes to come out and say hi.

Those little red toadstools are unreal, I’ve never seen anything like them!
