Stitch Along Sunday - March Week 1

Hey Everyone, welcome back to Stitch Along Sunday.

Wow, where does the time go. Here we are at the beginning of another Stitch Along project.

If you didn’t see my finished February piece you can view it here, February Week 4.  All the other finished projects can be viewed in the February Gallery on Ruth’s blog. In the end I didn’t put the arrows on and am quite happy that I didn’t as it leaves the piece open to see the depth into the centre due to the gradation of fabrics. As I said in my post I wasn’t real happy with my piece but then Michael held it up for me to look at and I went oh it is kind of cool.

This month’s piece is about digging into your scrap box and using up some of those pieces left over from other projects. I wonder which scrap box I should dig into seeing how I have a few. To read the full set of rules check them out on Ruth’s blog – March Week 1 Rules.

Deciding what colour and fabrics to use for my piece was the most difficult task especially since the bin of scraps I chose had so many wonderful colours and fabrics in it. The bin is pictured at the top of the page

I ended up with 3 sets of fabrics.

Now which combination should I use?

Combo #2

Tune in next week to see which combo I decided to work with.
