Hey Everyone, welcome back to Cool Tool Thursday.
We had snow forecasted this week so what better tool to highlight than the Snowball Template from Creative Grids. Snow, snow go away come back again some other day – preferably many, many, many days.
The snowball block is a quilt block that has been around for quite some time. This little template is great for creating the snowball block from 5 inch squares – perfect to use with those pre-cut charm packs which I just seem to have two or three or four of.
This template true to the Creative Grid form has a non-slip grip on the back as do all of their other rulers.
It is easy to use and creates very little waste.
As well it comes with a free pattern in the packaging to make a cute little table runner.
I’ll be showing this ruler tomorrow and Saturday during my ruler presentation at CreativFestival in Toronto. Stop by and check it out. If you can’t make it then tune in next week to see how to use it and what I have created with it.
Here’s a sneak peak of some of the snowball blocks.
Happy Quilting!
