Hey Everyone, welcome back to Snapshot Saturday.

This week the assignment I gave to myself to photograph was textures. Everywhere you look there is texture of some sort or another so it wasn’t a hard assignment to find content for.

I just stepped outside into my front yard and found these textures. The one at the top of the page I call Tree Bark with Fungus.

I doubt I will use these for a quilt – possibly a quilting motif. I could also combine them with another photo to create a montage which can be really interesting.
