S'mores Anyone

Hey Everyone, welcome back to Coffee Talk Saturday.

So I am sitting here in my studio thinking that I would really like something yummy to eat as I design and create borders for all of my flower quilts. I am doing well with the borders but now need a little bit of sugar to boost my energy so I can keep going.

I was thinking some chocolate would be good and then the picture of a S’more popped into my head. Oh it would taste so good but I have a slight problem – no marshmallows, no Jersey milk chocolate bar (they melt the best), no graham wafer crackers, no campfire and worse of all no vehicle to go and get the ingredients.

I can make do without the campfire as I can always toast my marshmallow over the barbecue like I did in Australia to make them. I had to import the ingredients as they did not have the proper chocolate or marshmallows and no graham wafer crackers to be found on their grocery store shelves – they are certainly missing out on the finer things in life called S’mores.

Oh doesn't it look delicious!

Oh doesn’t it look delicious!

I guess I shall quit dreaming about S’mores and go find something else to satisfy my palette. I guess chocolate chips will have to do or maybe some butterscotch pudding – the cooked kind of course.

At least I won’t have sticky fingers around the fabric now.

Have a great day!

Happy Quilting!
