Hey Everyone, welcome back to Snapshot Saturday.
When we left St Martins we were each assigned another topic to photograph – my topic is red. So Seeing Red has a totally different meaning than what most people think of when they say this.
We have until the beginning of November to post our photos to our group in Google+. Lots of time – yeah right – it is already the 21st of September. But it is more time than we had at the course for our assignment – several weeks rather than several hours.
It is amazing how much red there is wherever I go – even just in my house there is a lot of red. Maybe I notice the red more because in my mind I know I have this assignment to do. I need 15 – 20 images for my assignment and here are a few I am considering.
One Red Line
A Kettle Spout
Three Chairs
A Coke Bottle
So I still need a few more but the fall colours are now just starting so I am sure I will be Seeing More Red very soon.
Happy Quilting!
Hi Jen,
I am currently enjoying the International PA Quilt Show in Philadelphia and have been inspired by your photographs. I have always loved taking photographs and now that I am trying to get into landscape quilts, and a more artistic look, I am inspired by all you have been sharing with us. Thanks so much!
Hi Jen,
Red is one of my favourite colours, and so you can image how I will notice the colour! Mailboxes, stop signs, clothes people wear, don’t get me started at the mall…
