Railroad Tracks uses 39 different fabrics in the design making it a great pattern to use up all those bits and pieces in your stash. Or, follow along with the pattern and use a coordinated colour fabric line like the one from Northcott – Toscana.
With no borders in the pattern design, this is a fast quilt to start and finish which produces a strong, contemporary, graphic piece.
The pattern is fat quarter friendly, very adaptable and suitable for all levels of quilters. You can easily use just one block to make a mug rug, two to make a placemat or string a few more together for a pretty cool table runner.
