Hey Everyone, welcome back to Colourful Friday.
And yes it is very colourful here at the 2015 Spring CreativFestival at the International Centre in Mississauga Ontario. Not so colourful outside with the wind blowing and the snow trying to fly.
Definitely a great day to be indoors enjoying the glorious and tantalizing colours of all the thread, fabric, beads and yarn at the show.
Yesterday, Michael and I spent the afternoon setting up our booth which is #206. This being our 4th time of participating in the show we are getting much faster at setting up the booth and getting everything looking just so.
I have Gail, a fabric recycler whose company is called Give A Darn Yarn from Nova Scotia on one side of me. You can see her sign in the photo above. And my friend Mari-Lyn who owns ByTowne Threads on the other side. You can see her banner in the photo at the top of the page. I am not so sure I am going to go home with any earnings because the colours are so inviting in both booths and you know how much I love colour especially when it is combined with fabric and thread. And then Sew Sisters is beside Gail – I know I am in trouble with shopping only inches away.
Come on down for a visit and say hi if you are in the area. There are lots of vendors, ideas and demos to check out while you are here. Not only are there quilting booths galore but there are also beads, yarns, notions and a whole lot more.
Not to mention some free presentations which I and many others will be presenting throughout both days of the event. I will be doing two presentations each day.
One is called Using Up the Pre-Cuts & Scraps which is presented at 1:30 on Friday and 3:30 on Saturday in Room 102. I’ll be talking about different ideas for pre-cuts and scraps to use them up out and make room in your stash for more.
The other is called Releasing the Rulers which is presented at 4:30 on Friday and 9:30 on Saturday in Room 102. In this presentation I’ll be talking about all the rulers in the top drawer of my tool chest.
Lots to see and lots to do here at this years show and don’t forget to stop and visit the Crochet Crowd so you can take a ride on their Flower Power bus. I know I’ll be taking a ride before the weekend is over.
Happy Quilting!
