church window with overlay design

Hey everyone welcome back to St. Martins Inn for day 5 of our workshop. Our week is quickly coming to an end here in this magical place but the good news is we have booked an extra night to stay and enjoy a little bit longer.

Today was the big assignment day and as you recall from yesterday’s post, St Martins – Day 4, Shamper’s Bluff my topic was “I could make a quilt from this.” I went to bed thinking “Oh, this is an easy assignment.” But in fact once I got out there it was a lot harder than I had anticipated. In my mind I had an idea of what I wanted to put together for my presentation. Once out there I wasn’t seeing that idea at all.

I did still manage to take over 300 photos and create the required number of images for the presentation.  Many times I just shot hoping that I would be able to use it or fuse it with another photo to create something amazing that I could quilt.

Here are a few of my favourites from the day.

Two chairs and a door on a blue wall.
