Hey Everyone, welcome back to Coffee Talk Saturday.
I am sure there are many more good reasons as to why having a design wall is a good idea but my number one reasons have 4 or 3 legs. Their names are Soda, Frostie and Tripod. Upon returning from Australia it took us a while to get a design wall made for me and so I put everything on the floor to look at and photograph. Some days this worked okay and some days well………. it was a total disaster especially if Tripod got in there as well shuffling her backside along and dragging the blocks behind her.
Need a little help on how to create a great two different economical design walls. Check out my blog posts on how to make a permanent lightweight design wall and a how to make a portable lightweight design wall.
They are very cute indeed but not very helpful.
Happy Quilting!
I shared this on Patchwork Times’ Design Wall, Sew Cute Tuesday and Let’s Get Acquainted
I lol’d. My dog is a fur nightmare. I try not to even let him in the studio. I told my roommate I was going to have to buy stock in the sticky lint roller thingie company!
so darn cute
haha!! my (70 pound) dog tries to do this when I’m basting my quilts! 🙂 love it!
Kelly, together my dog and 2 cats equal 70 pounds. They like to help me baste as well.
I found small children were just as much an incentive for a design wall as pets!
Yes, small children would also have the same effect as pets.
LOL! I don’t have a design wall, nor do I have dogs. =) Very cute picture. I guess they wanted to help.
Visiting from Sew Cute! =)
Replace the dog and cat with a 3 year old and a 1 one year old and I pretty much need a design wall for the same reason! I’m waiting to move or take the house off the market before actually making one though.
