Waves & Sunshine

Hey Everyone, welcome back to coffee talk Saturday.

Yesterday morning in San Francisco the day started out a bit foggy but as we travelled down the road towards Pacific Grove the fog dissipated and the sun shone bright and warm. Everyone from the area kept telling us the weather was very unusual for this time of year and I do have to say I don’t mind at all that it is warm and bright, although I do wish I had my sunnies with me.

We arrived early at Asilomar so we had time to relax in a deck chair soaking up the sun after a trip down the path to the ocean. Oh I love the ocean with its rolling and crashing waves – always changing and never staying put, pushing the water up the beach and then pulling it back again only to repeat and repeat and repeat. I can sit there mesmerized for hours by this action and the sounds of the waves crashing.

I went to sleep last night listening to the sound of the waves crashing and this morning I woke to the sound of the waves crashing – life is definitely good.

The forecast is for another stellar day. Couple that with a great day of quilting amongst friends, old and new, what else could I ask for.

Whatever you are doing today or where ever you are I hope that life is good for you too.
