Assortment of fabrics

Hey Everyone, welcome back to Stitch Along Sunday.

WOW, October has come and gone and my piece from last month isn’t quite finished. I am aiming for Tuesday to reveal the finished piece.

Did you see all of the finished pieces from last month? If not then check out the October Gallery on Ruth’s blog.

This month’s challenge is going to be lots of fun as well. Ruth is pretty good at coming up with ideas. Check out her blog for Rules- Week 1.

As per the rules I picked out 3 fabrics that go together, a background fabric and a border fabric. There was also to be something round, something green and something Halloween.

My round and green is a bit lame so I am going to see if I can find something as an embellishment in these requirements. I might need to go to the Dollar Store and see what I can find – hopefully they haven’t put all the Halloween stuff away yet.

The next step was to cut up the 3 fabrics into different sized squares which I have done and now have to await further instructions.

The waiting is the hardest part.

Happy Quilting!
