Footprints in the sand

Hey Everyone, welcome back to Stitch Along Sunday.

Here it is Sunday again and usually I have my piece all done and ready for your in box bright and early Sunday morning – not so today. I’m kind of at a loss as to what to do further on my piece.

I am definitely still stuck on the vertical piece that is needed from last week. Thanks to all the wonderful suggestions I received last week of what to add – I’m sure it will be something from that list. Just need to narrow it down.

For this week’s rules check out Ruth’s blog – March Week 4 Rules. While you are there make sure to check out the March Gallery.

Today I am to add something else to the design such as stitching, couching, etc.

Oh boy, what to do. I’ll have to think on it and get back to you before the day is over otherwise I will have missed a day in my daily blog posts.

I did finally add a sun and foot prints to the piece for last week as you can see in the photo at the top of the page.

I had also thought of a beach blanket and really like it now that I see the picture again. Oh well, the footprints are fused and stitched in place now.

Then I thought I would put some stitching in for this week in the form of sun rays – don’t like them so I will be doing some reverse sewing to get rid of them. They make the sun look like a great big jelly fish.

I’ll do some more thinking on the stitching but because I did the stitch and flip thing I might just leave it plain as I quite like it that way.

Happy Quilting!
