Lots of different mixed media

Hey Everyone, welcome back to Stitch Along Sunday.

Wow, the start of a new stitch along – where did January go? If you missed my final instalment for January you can view it here at Stitch Along Sunday – January Week 4.

To see others made in January check out the January Gallery on Ruth’s blog.

This week we are just gathering our bits and pieces to create this month’s challenge. The theme is “darkness to light”. View the complete post for week 1 on Ruth’s blog – February Week 1 Rules.

Bits and Pieces

With the theme of darkness to light I figured that some black, white and silver fabric may be in order.

Some wool for couching may be used.

An assortment of yarns for couching in neutral colours

Multiple varieties of yarn and cord

I also wanted to put some tulle into the bits and pieces box but I couldn’t find it – it is here somewhere just need to find it. I guess I cleaned up a little bit too well at the end of last year.

I’ll start with these bits and pieces and see where they lead me. I might use them all or maybe not. I might add to the pile as I go along. Who knows I may even add in a bit of colour.

I do believe it is going to be interesting.

Are you going to join us this month? We would love it if you did. The more the merrier.

Happy Quilting!
