Sandwiching Purely Canadian Quilt

Just a few pins are needed to sandwich this quilt!  The finished dimensions of this quilt will be 72×84 inches.  Not the largest quilt I’ve created, but it’s sure not small either.  We had the quilt top on display yesterday at the outdoor quilt show organised by Creemore House of Stitches during Creemore’s 25th Anniversary Copper Kettle Classics classic car festival.  Lots of raves about this quilt pattern already, as people are really liking how Canadian it is without being cliché.

I’m really looking forward to having this quilt finished and up on display at Simcoe Sew and Quilt.  Michelle at Simcoe Sew & Quilt will be offering this pattern with a fabric kit for the maple leaf centre as a Block-of-the-Month quilt this winter.  It’s going to be a lot of fun building this quilt with quilters from around Simcoe County.

Of course, I’ll also have the pattern available separately and the fabulous gals at Country Concessions in Cookstown are just itching to get fabric kits made up for this one, too.  Yay!

If you think your local quilt shop might like to carry this pattern, please let me know in the comments.

Happy Quilting.
