Half Square Triangles Designs

Hey Everyone, welcome back to Stash Blasting Wednesday.

A few weeks ago I highlighted how to make half square triangles using the grid method except I didn’t do anything with the HSTs.  After playing around with the HSTs I came up with many different block configurations.

In all I came up with 8 different ones to show you here.  All are 6 inch blocks.

So many to choose from and what stunning 2 coloured quilts they would make.   All of these block configurations could be made in any size since half square triangles can be made in all different sizes.  The larger the block the better the stash blasting.

    Thanks for the addition. I like the homeward bound best. Very interesting: I see flying geese, a butterfly and a flower basket.
